Surrounded by art treasures in a relaxed setting, working with people who were highly respected experts but down to earth humble people, I quickly learned the marvels of paper related materials. 

 

Within a few years of my college graduation, I started my career as a teacher and my sideline as a book collector/dealer and dabbler in antiques and all things interesting and curious.  Often I would purchase some item and bring it to my classes where my students could literally get in touch with the past. Now a long retired teacher, I spend each day with family, friends, treasures and eBay.

 

Being continually amazed at the tremendous skill of writers and artists of all kinds, I still uncover treasures and make them available to our ever increasing list of browsers, friends and customers on eBay. 

 

Whether it is a picture or print from an old book or magazine, an original document, or art object, an antique piece of glass, or a touch of antiquity from a long ago past world...there is a good chance you will encounter something in our listings that will appeal to you... from an artistic, historical, or even ancestral interest.

A visit to our site is a little bit like stopping into a old style book or antique store... you just never know what you might encounter... a totally common book at a bargain price or a unique document or art piece that is worthy of a museum.

 

And, you get to do all this from the convenience of your computer, tablet, or phone!! Then, too, for many of us a good part of the enjoyment is simply in the hunt itself, but the excitement can suddenly explode when you unexpectedly uncover that special item you didn't know even existed ... until you saw it!
